![]() The base issue is that when I tell it to wipe, it doesn't, and is stuck pending. The Microsoft article I found about using App Wipe said it should go through and wipe all company data from any computer that the person had used their company account to access. ![]() I can go to the App Wipe area, and put in their account name, but it doesn't do anything, just sits at pending, which is where my problem is. I don't see any way to later tell the system to just wipe the device of any data tied to their work account, since they are not signed into Company Portal, so there isn't an option under devices for their phone/account. They don't have to sign into company portal, but the next time they open Outlook, they have to agree to terms pertaining to using their work account, then everything works fine. When they sign into Outlook on their phone, it asks for their phone pin, and login password, and then Outlook says they need to install company portal with how I have the conditions setup. The thing is, they are not signed into InTune (Company Portal). ![]() It would have been better if I could have just had them all setup company portal, but there is the concern about the company doing things with their personal data that I am not going to get around no matter how much I explain it to them or show them documentation, so I can't use the retire option when they leave, unless there is a way to do that on phones that have just setup say Outlook using their work email that I am not finding.īasically my issue is, I can't get Outlook to block or delete all emails in their work account when I simulate someone leaving the company and removing their Azure account. Windows 8.1 With Windows 8/8.1 end of support on January 10th, 2023, Microsoft Edge version 109 will be the last browser version to support this operating system. Is there something specific that has to be done to get the accounts to delete because I don't want the work emails staying on their phones when they leave the company. Microsoft Edge version 109 is scheduled for release the week of January 12th, 2023 (to learn more, see our release schedule ). I found in the apps area, when they leave, I can tell the system to delete anything tied to their account, but when I test the app selective wipe by either manually putting in someone's account, or while also testing retiring a company portal joined system, it all just stays in pending. My main question is that we have people that are going to be putting their work email onto their personal phones.
